How do I back up my contacts in Outlook?

Open Outlook.

Highlight your CONTACTS folder.

Select FILE then
IMPORT AND EXPORT
Select EXPORT TO A FILE and
NEXT
Select PERSONAL FOLDERS FILE (.pst) and
NEXT
Ensure that CONTACTS is highlighted, and select INCLUDE SUBFOLDERS then
NEXT
Select a location on your hard drive to save the folder, and give it a name with the extension .PST as you see here. (You might not have a c:\temp folder, but anywhere will work for this step.)
Click FINISH.
Change NOTHING on this screen, and click OK
Go to the folder where you saved the file using Windows Explorer.
If the file is larger than 1200 KB (It probably will be) you need to make it small enough to fit on a floppy disk.  RIGHT CLICK and select ADD TO <yourfilenamehere>.zip and a compressed file will be created in the folder.  If this is NOT an option when you right click, you need to download and install Winzip from www.winzip.com.
Right click on the newly created .ZIP file, and select SEND TO 3 1/2 Floppy (A) and it will copy your backup file to your floppy drive.
